i installed my autometer boost gauge today and ran into a problem, the needle did not move a bit. i drove it around and still nothing. i tapped into the hose coming out of the intake manifold like i have read about. i checked both the tap and back of the guage so there is no leaks there.
i had this guy i know who is a mechanic come take a quick look. he pulled the hose of the intake manifold and said there was little to no vacuum and it felt weak as hell ( he said there should have been an affect to my engine at that point and there wasnt) . he then checked the pcv valve by squeezing in the hose that runs to it and he said he felt hardly nothing. do u thing that the pcv valve is clogged and thats why theres not enough vacuum/boost going to the boost guage and why i experince hesitation at times latly. there wasnt any other leaks that i know of except the hose connected to the top nipple to my greddy bov was loose any input would be great. it was 20 degrees when i installed this sh*t outside so i was kinda fuming afterwards.
