I know I need to use aluminum crush washers for a few of my my AN adapters. (Just like a bulkhead to the fuel tank with nuts)

Now Ive been looking around for some 18mm and 16mm with no luck whatsoever. (Oil cooler and fuel rail) ANplumbing couldnt even get them and theyve always supplied all my AN needs.

So what are you guys using?? Ive looked at some install pics and cant tell if people are just not using them or maybe using o-rings? I was told by ANplumbing if I didnt use them, I would leak and I very much believe them.

Oil cooler should be the common 14mm ones. Same as for the turbo water lines.

If youre talking about the copper crush washers for the banjo bolts, I dont see how they could be 14mm when the banjo bolt is a M16x1.5. Explain? Plus those are copper, from what I was told I need aluminum.

heres jnz's oil cooler, click on the enlarge phote area....You'll see the 2 crush washers there....call up jnz I'm sure they could hook you up....

I do see the washers. That is a possibility. I wasnt sure if that type of crush washer/o ring would suffice. Good to know. Maybe Ill call and see what size they are using. I have another order from Summitracing going in so maybe I can throw them in that order.

Paul see the pics attached.
Youll notice the so common oil cooler fittings (1g oil cooler) and my fuel rail setup. The washer on the fuel rail is a 3/4" ID. The only reason it fits is the adapter is a Earls piece so the collar is bigger. If that makes sense?
I used the crush washers on the clutch line I made up and Ill be using them on the tank for my -6an bulkhead fitting from the pump.

Thanks for the replies guys, sometimes I over think things, but a leak from the oil cooler or my fuel rail would make this guy not very happy when I go to finally start this thing.

I have a viton o-ring kit at work and never pay attention to sizes. I just grab what seems to fit-sorry.
My oil cooler has been together for years and even with an unported filter housing and 100psi+ pressure, there were no leaks.

Awesome, that really puts me at ease. I should be able to go into a part store now with my ANs and just grab what fits.

Man I feel a lot better  Thanks

Yea, if I have any issues with the o rings I am definately going with the stat o seals.

Thanks guys.
