i am new to the message boards, but by no means new to dsm's. my dilema is my o2 housing (internally gated turbo). i am trying to decide if i want to go with an external dump o2 housing (tubular or standard), tubular o2 housing, or an o2 eliminator that dumps back into the downpipe. i know that with the external dump there is less back pressure due to the exhaust gasses going to the atmosphere in the and it is louder. the tubular o2 flows more thatn the standard and even a ported o2 but other than that are there any other pro's and cons to one over the other? i welcome any comments or any recommendations. thanks.

I got an AHP O2 housing with a dump to the atmosphere. However, mine has a 40mm Tial external setup. I have been told that if you dump to the atmosphere with an internally gated turbo that it is really loud. However, when I put on my set-up, it was not loud at all. You could definately here it a WOT, but it sounded like a low pitched whistle. Anyway if I were you, I would dump to the atmosphere. However, be prepared to change your mind in the event that it is too loud for you.
