Hello,
I'm picking up my 95 GSX in a couple of days and am planning to turn up the boost to around 15 PSI. I'm gonna be sticking with the stock T25 for a while and I understand that I need to "upgrade" to a 1G BOV since the 2G BOV sucks so much... I know I atleast need an adapter for the 1G BOV but I was wondering if I should bother buying a UIC pipe for a T25. Am I really gonna notice a difference with the stock turbo? Also, I believe I read somewhere that a UIC interferes with the stock airbox, is this correct?

I'm buying a 2 year warranty with my car so I'd like it to remain relatively stock so I can return it to stock condition pretty easily if I need any warranty work done. It's a 3rd party warranty (not Mitsubishi) so they'd probably work on it anyways, but better safe than sorry...

thanks, Scott

Granted I don't have one on my car. BUT I did put one on my freinds GST and we dyno'd it afterwords, it did make a difference. Plus if you need to make it back to stock it's really easy!

I heaven't heard anything bad about upgrading the upper I/C. in fact, according to the upgrade sequence that both DSMtuners and buschur racing list, the upper I/C pipe upgrade should be one of the first ones you should do. I ordered mine from Dejon tool the l and s pipe cost me $180. should have them put on by the end of the week, so hopefully I can provide more insight for ya-phoenix

yea its worth upgrading the IC pipes.. just follow the upgrade path..

like mentioned.. if u want more psi and ur going to mod ur car.. that airbox isnt gonna be there for long ;)

i got my filter, upper ic pipes, hks ssqv bov.. and wow the car felt so much stronger than stock..

i just ordered a dave brode pipe for my 97 gs-t. he replied to my emails really quickly. i got the part that goes from the intercooler to the bov with all hardware. it cost me $65 (in my opinion the best deal on 2g uicp & trust me i searched). i already had the 1g bov, that can be had easily from the trader, classified ads here or ebay.
