but then yes. Use a full synthetic, not a mix of any sort. Full synthetic.

Your engine will last longer, and run cooler. As well there should be some small power gain, as there will be less internal friction.

Personally I use Mobile 1.

Also you can go longer between oil changes, but for all that is holy, DON"T FORGET TO CHANGE YOUR FILTER AT THE REGULAR INTERVALS!!
 
You can never change your oil/fluids too often. I use valvoline racing synthetic oil....good stuff. Actually, all of my fluids are either valvoline or mobil 1. I'd use royal purple or red line....but niggas is broke ya know
 
I really like the Castrol Syntec. It is cheaper than some synthetics, and it 100% fixed my lifter-tick, except recently, when the temps have been below freezing, it'll tick until the revs hit 3k or so.

I change it every 3k miles, and it always comes out looking pretty much like it went going in.
