i have an evo 8 fuel pump which is comparable to the 190 walbro and i have a bosch 044. i was going to use a fuel cell but the class regulations state that fuel cells are prohibited, so im going to be installing my old fuel tank and i was going to run the 190 feeding the 044 is this a feasable solution? i have ass loads of -8 fittings and line. the only fitting i dont have is a bulk head, but i think i solved that problem. i just used a regular fitting , and assembled the fitting on the line on each side of the fuel pump housing. how much pressure is in between the 2 pumps there are no barbs on the evo pump, but i got it to work with the stock o ring crap and just cut the tube and double hose clamped a rubber hose to it, then i assembled the -8 90* fitting as you would a bulkhead and sure looks like it would work well i would take pictures if i had a camera. also where the housing bolts to the tank 2 of the studs are rusted/stripped so i cant put 2 of the nuts on , would this be a bad problem , could i just silicone around any potential gaps? just afraid of fuel splashing on the ground at the track ( i doubt i would have any problems but just playing it safe. will my evo 8 fuel pump be a sufficient feed pump for the bosch 044 or will it not flow enough?
. now i have the 044 in tank
