1. Will it fit under the hood?
2. How much boost will it hold?
3. Is it much different from Type S?
4. Is it woth it? ($183 vs $197)
5. Will it eventualy work for an L2R?
6. Will it fit on to the greddy IC Pipe kit.

Answeres will be greatly apretiated. Thanks

Yes
40 plus PSI
I lot bigger and hold more boost
worth it yes if your running a lot of boost type S will qualify for most people.
work with anything and long as you have the right flange

All the questions I was about to ask. I hear the Type S doesn't do well over 20 psi on bigger turbos, and that the Type R sounds nothing like the S, more like a large release of air and not a piercing sound. It kinda sounds like blowing a vacuum hose. Does any of this sound right?

awsome this is great.... some one just tell me if it fits on the greddy ic pipe kit and im set

the last time looked at the two they seem the same.

but i haven't tried to bolted my try R to and S to see.

I you have the R flange you can just cut the S off and weld the R one on and the take car of the problem.

I thought this thread was about a "type R" (honda) engine.
I actually haven't heard the Type R in person but the guy said it's really quite unless he's running a lot of boost. I heard the Type S and it sounds amazing. :)

i really dont care about sound, im gonna recirculate anyway

Ok now, just as i was happy with the decision to get Dejon L and S pipes... the site says the type r is too tall for that pipe. whats the deal? is this true?
