I am guessing this is the best place to put this thread. Nothing else looks even remotely close.
Okay. I'm basically ready to break in the car, and only have one thing left to fix. When my car blew up back in January, the tach was working fine. Now that I have everything back together, it stays at 0 when I start it. The weird thing though is that if I turn the ignition to the accessory position, the turbo timer takes over and suddenly the tach works! I can then turn the ignition back to the on position and the tach will work until the turbo timer kicks off. This is really weird to me and I've seached for a couple hours this morning to no avail. I'd very much like to find out what this could be and how to fix it. Could it be a simple ground problem? And if so where is the tach ground located? I've read something about some connector by the intake manifold, but I have no clue which one. Someone please help me so I can start driving this girl.
