What should be diameter of inside passage for oil cooller lines on 1g?

The thing is my stock lines is bad and i want to use another ones... i found very good qualitty hoses: the inside diameter of hose is 8mm and inside diameter of hose fitings are about 5mm

is it to small to use for the oil cooler or ok?

and one more question, when oil termostat is open passage to oil cooler, at the time all oil goes thrue only oil cooler or by pass it too?

I use a-10 hose on my 1990 oil cooler but, I got mine with a -6. For AN style fittings you could call roadraceengineering or diamondstarmotorsport for the fittings you need.
