Lets build a motor

Alirght I picked up a 6 bolt motor, and I want to build it up, I want around 450 hp. I want to know all the internals I need, and want to spend about 2500 in total.

I was thinking
je pistons
stock 6 bolt rods
Arp fasterners, Everything

Which bearing, rings should I get, or should I consider different pistons.

Just use stock 2g pistons, they are good for about 450hp i read. no higher tho.

I use Ross pistons. There is no better. the oiling ring is far better than the 2g or JE's or any other piston on the market. They go through a vigrous inspection before being release to the public for sale. Each piston is tested. They have all different compression they are just a far better piston than any other. I also use the Pauter Rods also. They are wicked rods, With this combo the bottom end can handle 800 with no problems just a little over kill for you appacation though. But you will never have to build another motor.

Eagle rods and 2g pistons would be an awsome combo.

If I remember correctly the 2g pistons and eagle rods will bolt right up and not require any machining to fit.

For the price of eagle rods it would be kinda dumb not to.

Exactly, I dont trust anyone to get my engine/piston bore perfect to run forged pistons.
If I end up putting the 6 bolt bottom end Im getttin in it will be stock 1g big rods and 2g pistons. 450hp is plenty of strength for me being as I plan to run a T28 maxed out which would be about 360hp. Then maybe upgrade later to push around 400, but no more than that. I dont want to break stuff on a regular basis.
