Sweet header eh? Insert, poll, nevermind.....

So ive been thinking about the prospects of alky or water injection or possibly both but I am a little scared of tuning to the limit with injection. If some thing were to fail that would make imminent lunch out of my motor. So I decided I would poll you water and alkyholics to see the reliability of these systems.

I realize there can be home made kits, cooling mist kits, and a variety of others......but if yours worked just put "yes ive used water/alky injection and it hasn't failed me" however, if you click "yes I have used water/alky injection and it has failed me" please post what kind of kit you used.

Thanks alot guys, hoping this will make a decent data base for others like me with similar concearns. :dsm:

All you have to do is wire a light to your cockpit so you can see when the injection is activated.

And I can say with 100% confidence that ever since I installed my kit 4 days ago it hasn't failed me since!

I have been running daily for over a year on my Snow performance stage II kit and i have not had a single issue.

LOL @ 4 days ! I assume you want more definitive info than a 4 day install. I installed my Spearco system in 2002 and only had the initial issue of vapor lock once. I changed jets to the size smaller and haven't had an issue since. The only change I'd make to the kit is a larger resevoir. Mine switches on at 7 psi and the relatively small 2 quart container is empty if im doing any type of highway pulling.[/I]
