####,
When you get injectors say FIC 750's, at what pressure are they tested at?

The reason I ask is because if they are rated at 43.5psi and we put them in our 1g manual at 37psi won't they flow say 692cc?

I would think there has to be some type of standard pressure a manufacture uses to come up with how many cc a injector will flow.

Thanks

All injectors are rated at 43.5 psi except for PTE's which are rated at 47. As an example, a PTE 880 is the same as an FIC 850 when you run them at 43.5 psi. So your assumption that running them at less pressure will create less flow is correct. For the most part though you'll find that 43.5 psi is the standard.

Does that make sense?

Andy

Thanks Andy.

I am haing one hell of a time getting things set up with link and I am trying to source as much info on global and deadtime settigs. Anyone with link feel free to chime in if they so choose. Since most info I have found is related to 43.5 psi fuel info, on my 1g I should run 37 psi which makes my 750's act like 692cc injectors. If normal deadtime is around 315 and I am running lower pressure it should lower my deadtime down a bit. These are just my assumptions so please anyone correct me where I am wrong.

Edit also my global values for injector should be around -35% if I figure right.

Since you're using Link, I would post up a question on the Link boards as to the correct settings you should use for global and deadtime. I wish I could help, but I only use the Java based program to read people's log files and don't have the full blown software.

Let me know what you come up with and keep in mind that some tuners with 1G's opt to run their base pressure at 40 psi for somewhat of a compromise.

Thanks andy.

I have a post on link forums but truely there is only one person who has really been trying to help and I know he is probably getting aggrivated with all my questions. My problems just dont seem to make any sense to me and I can not seem to understand why the ecu keeps doing what it is doing.

Quicl run down is, Wideband is good and reads in the 16 range while at ilde and the ecu is still trying to pull fuel which is why it is running lean. New front 02 sensor

Have you tried increasing base fuel pressure to richen it up and see the effect on what the wideband's showing you?

Just thought it might be worth a try.
