Hi... How come for 97-99 7 bolts we have to do the CAS MOD??
Brian Crower's New Street / Strip Camshafts are designed for those looking for more power without having to upgrade the valve-train. These 272 cams will have a slight lope at idle and are designed to drop right in. 97-99 7 Bolt motors do require CAS mod for proper performance.
What exactly are they talking about??? what mod?
Thanks!

Some Cams require you to tap the intake cam for the 97-99 style CAS. However, Brian Crower intake cams come pre-tapped. The website I ordered from also had this note, it's not accurate. BC cams are direct bolt-ons and I love them

The 280's are holding up great in my setup! I a loving them! I love the bumpy idle!
They seem to make peak power right after 8K rpms.
