RSR exhaust

Hey guys,

I was doing some research and i really like the RSR catback. Only problem is I already ordered the Apexi GT downpipe. I don't think they'll bolt up but i'd figure i would ask anyway. Does anyone know a way, besides welding the 2 together, to get them to fit? Is it possible to get a apexi flange welded on the rsr so the 2 will bolt up if I take it to a muffler shop?

i've heard that the Apexi and RS*R exhausts are very, very similar.

If you check out the road race engineering site ( http://www.roadraceengineering.com/eclexhaust.htm )
you can see they advertise that the downpipe they sell will bolt up to an Apexi OR RSR exhaust. Since you know that an Apexi downpipe will bolt up to a Apexi exhaust, you can substitute the 7, carry the 3, blah blah blah......I think they should bolt right up.

they look almost the same. Same color on the piping, same bends.

Good luck finding a RSR exhaust. They don't make them anymore.

I bought my RSR Downpipe from turboimport.com... but the site no longer works. The RSR DP bolted right up to my Apexi Dunk cat back. The flanges were the same however the DP I.D. was 70mm and I think the Dunk was 80mm. If the RSR catback is 70mm to mate up with their DP, you may have a restriction if the Apexi DP is 80mm.

the dp is 70mmits for the fwd. That's where i was going to get it from, but your right the link doesn't work. Hope they didn't go out of business
