14b buy or not

i have a 2g DSM and everyone says that a 14b off a 1g is a good uprgrade. my friend wants to sell me his for $50. He said it has no cracks, but the shaft does not spin and need new bearings. You think its worth buying?

$50+$200 for install kit since u have a 2G+ rebuild.

why not just get a 16g its got way more to offer than the 14b i think its junk its worth the money to spend about 400 dollars and get a good upgrade and when my 14b went out a rebuild kit if i did it my self was about 200 dollars so its not worth it.
