I have access to a T3flange GT3076R and i was wondering what it will take to make this fit on my car. It has a stock 6 bolt right now and all my mods are in my profile. I have found lots of Tubular Manifolds for it but i have no idea what brand is decent or if i need to modify fans(slimfans) to fit this turbo. I want to spend about 400 to 600US for the manifold if i can get away with that. It is a vband style downpipe flange on the turbo so i will just make a custom 3 inch downpipe and use an open dump tube for the wastegate.

Does anyone have this turbo??? Where does it spool on these cars. It is on my buddys 2 litre B18 honda right now and he has put down 130mph trap speeds with a 2700lb car. He doesnt spool till around 4600 to 4700 but i have consistantly heard that a 4G63 Will typically spool a turbo faster. Holset hx35 wont spool till around 5000 on a honda but on a dsm it will spool in the low 4000 range. Im shooting for 400 to 450whp with this setup. Any help on what needs to be done to make this fit would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks guys

What A/R is the turbine housing? He is spooling very late. with a .63 Turbine it should start spooling around 2800 (on a 2.0L his might spool just a tad later).

It should work very nice on yours, I am searching for a good deal on one come spring or earlier if i find one.

Your basically going to need a t3 install kit. the manifold is up to you or you can use an adapter plate like the one AMS produces. Your going to need to weigh the prices of the kit versus buying a t3 manifold and piecing together the oil/coolant lines.

Sorry i meant full spool....29psi at 4700 and shifts at 9200. That is very typical for a setup like his. His car is unbelievable and is one of the fastest cars around here. he is making an estimated 475whp on that turbo. Amazing to see a front drive car on street tires run 129mph@ 11.99....insane traction problems. haha by fast i mean mph...his times are horrible...fun to watch tho. He likes to run down bikes from a roll...even more entertaining. basically why i want this turbo...ill hit 11's no problem and surprise the hell outta some poor guy and his R6

I want to run a tubular manifold just cause. Who is a reputable company to get one from. Ive heard bad things about slow boy racing. What are some other vendors out there that make good midranged stuff.

PS. i just asked him and he says he starts to spool around 3300. It is a .63 turbine.

DN Performance is a good name brand company for a tubular manifold. Despite the flack on the forums, the SSAutochrome/XS Power exhaust mani's are ok pieces; they're copies of the DN Performance manifolds. The loads of hate against the company are somewhat deserved; they're older design was made with thinner walled tubing and inferior welding quality. I was a skeptic until yesterday when I actually picked up one of their manifolds and looked at it. Welds are very good, walls are of appropriate thickness, and there are supports brackets welded on every runner to the flanges. There are two cars in the shop running the newer manifolds without having any cracking for over a year; they just had to have all of the flanges planed for flatness, but to pay $20 to have them planed on a $150 manifold compared to a $400 manifold that comes planed? I'll take the ebay piece. The shop owner told me the big thing with the manifolds cracking is proper installation of the downpipe; it needs to be connected to the block to remove most of the exhaust system's weight from the turbo and flange. Also, all other exhaust mounting points need to be well connected. This reall does go for any exhaust manifold though.

Hope this helps,

Im running a t4 xs manifold for a couple of weeks now and its still holding up.Although this car is not my daily driver.

How far can i go with my stock 2g maf...ive heard 400hp..but is that whp or crank hp.

How much farther can i push it if i hack the lower and side honeycombs out.(i have dsmlink)

Im considering just doing a 3 inch gm maf blow through setup but if i dont have to then that saves me 300 bucks or so.

Thanks guys.
