Lees Summit,
First off, I know since I just bought this car, I should be in the newbie sections right. But this is something I do not want to screw up so im making sure im talking to the people who know what they are doing. I just bought a 1999 GST Eclipse with about 39k miles on it, and the car is completely stock. I want to put a AGP L2R turbo on the car. My question is what other things do I need to purchase with the turbo to make it run safely, and effectively. I know there is the tuning guide I went through it, but I want to know what parts specifically I need for the car. Money isnt a huge issue on parts, since I just started working for a online store called Import's Edge. I just want to know what parts I should buy with the turbo, to make the car run smooth and safely. different modles and brands of parts that I could use would be helpful, that would work, so I could make the choice on how much I want to spend. Thank you very much.

You probably should first be concerned about getting supporting mods, if its stock you have a ways to go before getting a big turbo upgrade. But like larry said, look at his mods, or check out John's (L2Rtsiawd), he has an L2R.

Thats what im wanting to know. What things Do I need to put that turbo on the car? What supporting mods do I need?

Check out larryd,GSX4LIFE,sunflashx,or my homepage. These all have the supportting mods you need

A quick list would look something like this:

Intake
FMIC
upgraded BOV
Walbro 255 or supra fuel pump
AFPR
660 or smilar injectors.
Ported 2G mani or tubular manifold.
3 inch O2 housing or elim DP (for internal of ext wastegate)
3 inch HF Cat or test-pipe.
3inch cat-back exhaust.
Cams
Compliment of gauges(boost EGT Fuel Pressure)
Boost Controller

You can have all the supporting mods you want............ Are you familiar with basic tuning aspects? If not, I suggest you start there. Start making a list of supporting mods. Then check with some of the guys here that are currently using a L2R. See if your mod list jives........ analyze the list again.......place your orders.............install..............tune..........do some more tuning.......... then check your tuning............... This is just my suggestion. Sorry if you take anything the wrong way. I'm not trying to be an ass. :)
