The last time. I have finished rebuilding a 7-bolt out of a 1993 awd talon. I have it ready to drop back in the car and fire up. But, I keep hearing these horror stories about rebuilt engines going to hell in a couple thousand miles. Even though it is a 1g 7-bolt how likely is it to have trouble. It was not built for a drag car, but I am going to do some bolt-on mods. I am use to rebuilding v8's not 4cyl motors. Mechanically there isnt much of a difference, but the stories. Any advice or suggestions please .

to late now. slap it in and pray to God. most people spin bearings or clog the oil pump with to much pan sealer. make sure you are extra clean with those bearings.
