Well I orriginally just wanted to change out the filter and ended up having to replace the main fuel line along with it. Soooo..... I call SATAN and order a OEM line. First mistake. I get it looking at it didn't believe it was the correct one so I double check with the part number. SATAN said it was the correct one so I proceeded in removing the fuel line and filter. Finally get it all ripped out and go and dry fit the new line with new filter the compression nut is too short on both ends. Look at the original i took off and its twice as long. HOORAY!! So I call them back telling my delema and the phone assistants didn't believe me. So I sent them a pic comparing them both. Get a call back and there explanation was it was SATANS fault, maybe a batch of compression nuts got mixed up or it was numbers. So they refunded me the money and told me I could have the line. So now I am currently hacking and tapping my stock fuel rail to make a totally -6 an fuel system. Just one piece of advice dont try looking for hose fittings for our stock lines the one company that made them doesn't anymore, and that was Earls over in Europe. Anyways i'll be taking pics and posting them as I go. But for now here is a pic of those two lines you'll like this.

Sorry didn't look closely at the picture requirements.

So this is what my fuel rail looks after visit to the local machine shop. Now im going to be using a -6 an to 3/8 male connection. However I wont be using fuel grade teflon tape i'll be using a fuel grade dope istead. Just because I got this stuff at work I have been using on many different fuel applications that seems to work really well and will work well also under high pressures. When I get my hands on it again I'll let you know what it is. By the way so far this machine job on the rail was only $20. I'll also keep you informed of my spendings on parts and consumables. Late.

Not that it matters now but did you consider cutting one of the flares off both the new and old lines, swapping compression nuts and then reflaring the new line? Or was one of the old nuts fubared.

Finally i get around to finishing this post and here are the pics and honestly the cost was most definately worth it....200 bones. now i'll have an easier time with replacing the filter. now that its standardized. if you have questions let me know.

Damn, that looks nice. You should post where you got all the lines and stuff if you can.

DITTO ^

I would also care to know where you got all your line and fittings to make this complete fuel supply upgrade for 200 bucks. :thumb:

Guys you can get line from summit pretty cheap now. I did the same to my 2gnt for around 100. The line was 60 and it only required a few fittings.
Edit: where did you get the adaptor for the pump assymbly output?

Can you give me a link to where you buy the line in ft. Also is there a list somewhere of what fittings ill need to make it all up?
