Turbo Timers

I'm looking to buy a turbo timer. I was thinking about the HKS Type 1 or the Apex i' pen style one. I think the blue lighting on the HKS, but i heard from a lot of people it's too bright, if anyone out there has one, do you know if there is some way you could adjust the brightness or dim it somehow?? And also, where is the best place to put in the car?

I have a friend using the apex i pen style tt and he loves it. I'm picking one up this weekend.

Pin styles are very cool IMO, cheap effective and very small!!

i like my HKS, its not too bright and i have mine on the steering column. I like the 1/4 mile times that it has built in ( i run my 1/4 mile down my block), and the shift and speed alarm...
