Hey guys, first of all thanks in advance for any quick replies as i'm leaving to move to michigan tonight and i have a 4 hour drive ahead of me with my dsm.

93 Tsi AWD 6 bolted
255 lpb walbro pump
680cc PTE injectors
Fuel controller
more mods but i figure thats all thats relevent to my question

For some reason my car just decides to fall on its face and die sometimes and when it does this, it doesn't want to start again, it will always eventually start, but it takes a while. It's a very strange intermittent problem, and i have NO IDEA what can be causing this.

I have checked the fuel pressure when it's running good, and its perfectly normal, I checked alternator voltage (good there). I have checked a few other things too but this is just stupid and its completely random when the car decides to do this.

My car has a walbro 255lph pump in it and for the most part it's usually not that loud except when I've been driving around for a long time, then it gets really loud. Is this a normal situation?

Hey, ANYTHING, ANY IDEAS, QUICK! greatly appreciated, i need as much input as i can get before i leave tonight.

Thanks again

Brandon

Did you lube the fuel pump o-ring when you put it in? My car used to do the same thing, but when i replaced the shotty oring and fuel pump i lubed the new oring and now it doesnt happen anymore. The oring can bind up and let the fuel dump back into the tank instead of flowing up to the engine.

the thing is, the fuel pump was done probably 10k miles ago and it hasn't had a problem till now. thats why im kind of questioning that being the problem what do you think?
