Does anyone know if the R1 EGT guage uses the standard K-type probe? Does anyone have a direct link to the R1 company?

Yes, all 1600+ degree gauges use the type K thermocouple. The other main kind is, I think, a Type J, and is for lower temperature gauges.Originally posted by ISUJakey
