not asking how or anything...im jus asking how do i know if i did it right. how could i or should i feel the difference between the 1g compare to the 2g?? cause it seriously doesnt feel any different so im jus asking if i did it right...oh, and i follow it from vfaq.com. so yeah...and what i mean in feeling right is, should i feel some kind of power gain..or engine feels like it breathes better. it doesnt bog..or anything jus feels the damn same from when i have my hacked 1g maf in it. so let me know dsmers....

Well I dont see any mods in your profile. Your car is runing really really really lean:( When doing the 2g maf is a must to have fuel mods and control!

Reason for the 2g maf swap is to be able to increase the amount of boost you run without runing into maf over run. When done with supporting mods, you will feel a decrease in spool up, and the car will feel better when boosting.

I would take off the 2g maf and put the 1g back on. You have other things to worry about before the maf

the reason i dropped the 2g maf in it because i got it dirt cheap. so your suggestion is to put back my 1g. and ### kind of fuel mods do i need to run a long with the 2g maf. this is goin in my gvr4...i was plannin to put it in my gsx but since im doin the GM one on that and have that pretty modified..i jus wanted a little kick to my vr4. i never touched the 2g maf before that's why im asking about it.

Yes bud, put the 1g maf back on!! Your car is runing really lean. Thats a good way to blow a engine. Just wait until you get the rest of the supporting mods. Then you will feel a difference with the swap:)

I have a spare 2g MAF laying around, doesn't mean I'm going to go throw it in my car right now. You at least need to rewire your stock fuel pump or upgrade to a better flowing unit, if that unit happens to be a 255lph you will also need an aftermarket fuel pressure regulator as the 255 will overrun the stock FPR, which also requires an A/F gauge, and get at least 550cc injectors. I don't think I left anything out. Then an SAFC or something to the liking may be called for to control it all.

It's really not that lean, the Gvr4 maf is equivalent to a hacked 1g maf. It is probably little lean and you should put the stock maf back on. You need an safc, chip, or dsmlink if you are going to upgrade the maf.

aight, thanks guys...i will put back my 1g maf back on. maybe later on the road when i feel like upgrading the fuel to my gvr4, i throw it back on. maybe i throw it on my gsx instead of gettin the gm..who knows. again..thanks for the inputs
