my friend has 6o trim, magnus im , 660cc, 255hp, (no afpr) , dsmlink, 6bolt , fmic, arp manifold wastegate , no upgraded cams , not ported head etc...
its fwd

here is the problem: the car doesnt make much power.....i tried to tune it with dsmlink and they were couple of things that were suspicious to me: 2g(air)/cm3 @ 22 psi, my car with 16g (showed 2.7) @20psi
, tb elbow diameter is 2" , but whole piping is 2.5". and no knock what so ever.....
etc

any suggestions

Since he's running a 255 you need a fuel pressure regulator cause you over run the stock fpr. I think you kind of answered your own question. Get an fpr, adjust accordingly.

ok, but i dont think he has problem with the fuel....air is missing ... dsmlinmk showed me very low amount of air coming in....

That's ok. Post a text log and a .dat (dsmlink) log. His setup doesn't know what your first language is:thumb: .

i lost all my logs

why do you need maft to run dsmlink? Im pretty sure dsmlink takes care of most of that. Unless it's the airflow with the gm-mas you want, but I would maybe just try hacking the stock maf if he still has that.

It was just a question. No one said he needed a MAFT.

Is the airflow less on the other car all the time, or just at WOT? At idle/cruise is it about the same between the two cars? I don't think the fact that you have cams would be making that big of a difference, but it might. I'm not familiar with the different levels of Web cams.

Try to get us a log of both cars so we can compare them side to side. That way it will be more obvious what's going on with both cars as the RPMs increase.

I was just trying to understand the maft thing, it didn't make sense why it seemed like a big deal.

But i do agree with above, get some logs and post them up so we can all see exactly whats up.

i'll try to get some logs, but i lost most of them. another thing: 20-24 psi on pump gas it doesnt show any knock ( maybe bad knock sensor, but i never felt any stuttering or anything unusual)

you need to provide a more detailed analysis of his problem. after that im sure someone will get on the right track to solving it. try posting a log.

My first suggestion is to be more specific and maybe do some searching on the forums. Doing this will probably prevent more of your threads from getting closed (I saw about 9 of your threads have been closed when searching your threads to find what's up with your hood.). Anyway, his problem has probably been dealt with and fixed once before by someone else, so search old threads for the symptoms it has first. Anything else you can tell us besides he's not flowing the amount of air you think he should? PS - good luck with the english.

you are making me mad man... i dont have time to read, and dont have time to read your posts to prove how stupid you are. If you think i got no point here, great, just leave my tread. :thumb:

You need to post a datalog and a very very detailed description of the cars modifications.

Without those two things you won't find much help.

EVERYONE is just trying to help you. You NEED to post up a log, So WE can see exactly what is going on, Get it? This is like trying to patch a tire, But you do not want to find where the hole is... how would you ever patch it? YOU CANT!

If you want better answers, You need to post better information!

I would also make sure you DO make time to read. Because on this site, research is your best answer typically. Everyone goes through the same bull with these cars. A simple search takes no time, and a little detailed explination doesn't hurt.

I would also advise against calling other tuners names, or cutting down people trying to help you. No wonder you've got 9 closed threads.

Just calm down, search a little, and write up more info for us. I doesn't take THAT long, seriously.

p.s. I do dig the hood though, is that custom or a prefab?
