i need to pick up some power, so my next question is whats my single most important mod needed, i hear stock smic and injectors are good for
low 12's so rule those out, well maybe the 550's ill do if someone can convince me that they will absoulutely improve performance, i have a pocket logger ordered, should be here this week but i have watched timing w/a scan tool, about 17 at wot at 19 psi, actually considering a used vpc, but 750 is not in the budget, someone else says upgrade the fuel line and do a a-fpr, i dunno, im still kinda new, anyways runs 8.4x in the local 1/8 track with 1.83 60 ft times, ran a 13.38 1 time at a 1/4 mile track. right now guess im leaning towards a s-afc to lean things out i guess, but is it going to make it any faster ?? thanks in advance .

I agree. I picked up half a second with a SAFC.
You might also be running on the ragged edge with those stock injectors. 550s probably wouldn't be a *bad* idea, but the SAFC and datalogger will be the most bang for the buck at this point.

I'm about where you are. 8.6@81mph. My fuel system can't keep up, but I still have the stock pump. I have a 2G, though.

NAWSS! 2 bottles. The big ones.

But seriously, get it tuned with the AFC...preferably on a dyno if you can.

You'll be surprised at how much off your "butt dyno" is once you get it officially tuned on a real dyno. What you may think is a car that pulls hard, but in reality is actually running pig rich.

thanks for the help so far, i think ive decided on the sfc and 550's, may get a tmo stage 3 just for giggles, as far as dyno, i dunno where to find an 4 wheel dyno ?
