Ok so what i want to know is if i have a completly stock 1g would it be ok to do a 3 inch exhaust full set up , DP, TP , and cat back? would i have any back pressure issuses? and i will be getting another agp rs49t like i had on my2g? get back to me quick please

it will work just fine. You may get some boost creep if your on the stock turbo with a 3" exhaust toss on a larger flapper and port like madman and you'll be fine.

Welcome and congrats on the buy.

Your first modification should be either suspension work or maintance that any 15 year old verhicle would need. Look over everything, bushings, wires, belts, etc.

Make sure everything is functional first. Then, i would go in the following order :

Suspension - springs/coilver/struts/bushings/axle etc.

breathing- intake, boost controls, wg, exhaust, manifolds intake/exhaust,

logistics- logging,gauges,

then driver school before any horsepower upgrades. If you follow this list you will have a clean car that is reliable and ready for big hp modifications without the additional risk of blowing up after the first mod.

turbo car doesnt have any problems with the back pressure. Suspenssion would be nice but if you want something good, it could be very expencive. I would do that when i had some extra money. boost gauge, full exaust, regular maintance...etc

which 3 inch exhaust? I just bought a dejon tool 3 inch downpipe and cat back, but the downpipe starts at 2.5 inchs and grows to 3 inchs. im told that this will make it so I shouldnt have any boost creep problems. worst comes to worst ill just have to buy my new fuel system sooner than i expected and boost higher (not a problem with me since I never drive my dsm either way) you wont have any "backpressure" problems

im not sure wich to buy yet, and as you can see in my gallery im not new here, i had a 12 sec 2g wich i wrapped around a tree wich you can see if you search my posts , and having a stock suspention on my 2g caused my crash, car got alot of body roll

i was thinking of doin this order, intake, exhaust sys, suspention , dsmlink, then should i do the fuel before i put on my AGP rs49 50 trim? oh yea and i have a 2g maft , now how does that coversion work? can you just swap it and it plugs right in?
