Mods if this is in the wrong forum I apologize.

There are two local cars here in omaha, nebraska. We were rivals and both cars are very impressive. Here are their mod lists. Which one in your opinion is more impressive?

from squeak10686:
***Fuel***
Walbro 255HP rewired fuel pump
-6an line from the tank
Mr gasket filter
-6 line going to the rail
Aeromotive fuel pressure regulator
-6an line to the regulator
FIC 850cc Injectors...

*** turbo/intercooler***
Gt35r/60-1 turbo ( undecided yet, last piece to my puzzle left to buy)
Ported to all H*ll 2g manifold, theres seriously not much left
spearco core 33/12.5/3.5 intercooler
2.5 intercooler piping

*** misc supporting mods***
For engine management im running a full Megasquirt ems (( spark fuel etc))

Prothane motor mounts
Comp 101200 cams
((( I know i need an intake manifold)))
Full 3 inch exhaust
Custom 3 inch cold air intake.
Aem Uego Wideband

*** drivetrain mods***
Sbr 3500 Clutch ( im going to probably need to go with a better disc)
Mueller Flywheel
Syncro mesh

Ok now for the other car:
This is my car:

Turbo: 14b
Stock intercooler
stock injectors
B+M FPR
SAFC v1
ACT 2600lb clutch
100 shot of n20
ARP's
Cometic HG
3in exhaust

The engine is however "fully built" with cams spring ret pistons etc....

All my manifolds are stock on both cars
He ran an 11.9 @ 119 and I ran a 12.2 @ 114 with those mods

What car impresses you more and why. Both are intresting combos. His with all stock motor + ARP's Mine with stock turbo and other stock parts but with a built motor.

Could be an intresting discussion. Both of definatly found the limits of the stock parts on dsm's :)

I'd like to see the driving, looks impressive on the 14b. congrats, must be a great tune.

For sure the 14b setup impresses more. Good tuninng gets just about the same as a big ass turbo. Imagine if that tune was on the other car :thumb:

On the 14b the tune was done with the AFC so it was limited with that aspect. We used a richer jetting of nitrious to be able to keep the stock injectors.

If you want to see the cars driving visit www.1320video.com I am the white talon and his is the red talon...

I want to take my vote back. I didn't see the Nos until after voting.

Yeah that 200 shot of n20 is the real player for the 14b car.

It was 100 shot. I cannot even imagine that car with a 200 shot holy crap!!!!

also how do I edit the poll to add n20?? LOL

both cars are = IMO... they just take 2 tottally diferant aproaches.

The second chocie partialy because its also a 7-bolt, and second because hes from Omaha :thumb:

not to be negative but neither one is too impressive. Don't get me wrong, they are both fast and good 1/4 mile times but for what they got in them it is'nt impressive.

The 14b and SAFC is more impressive, it would be hard to doubt that, but who wants to have a car fully built just to be able to say you run a 14b in the low 12s? I'll tell you whats more impressive, taking that built motor, slapping a pt67 on it with the nitrous and running mid 9s.

Eh, it's a matter of opinions...Some people will see a 12 second 14b and say it's better b/c they got more from less...I think that the GT35 powered car is more impressive b/c of the extent of the mods...I doesn't have to work as hard to run a low 12 as the 14b car does...Even with the stock bottom end, he can easily sink deeper in the 11's with his current setup...

Maybe I am just not such a supporter of nitrous

there is the guy here in phoenix running high 10s, stock turbo t25 but ..... a lot of NOS...and maybe i should mention FWD !!!

Now that is awesome! 10's with stock T25 and FWD. I don't care how much bottle he runs that is impressive.

someone told and didnt believe, but later i saw it .... its crazy. engine its built for Nos but guy wanted to keep stock turbo
