Just wondering what are some good places that you recommed me sending my pistons off to be ceramic coated and possibly have teflon skirts? Thanks in advance.

A quick google search of "piston coatings" yielding

http://www.swaintech.com

They're pretty much *the* place for that sort of technology if you ask around the business.

Most places send their parts to Swain if they offer "coating services". Prices are about steady, so it wouldn't pay to shop around.

Thanks for showing me that site.

This is taken from their site, better explanation.

Thermal Barrier Coating on piston domes hold heat inside the combustion chamber where it can be converted to horsepower, rather than heat that can damage the engine. Poly MolyTM friction reduction coating on piston skirts protects both piston and cylinder wall from damaging heat and scuffing.
