i jst bought a Greddy TT. i'm not buying the harness. i was wondering if any one knows where the wiresi need to connect are...and which ones are they. please help.

P.S. do i need to pull the dash off.

there is a tech article about wiring TTs in the vfaqs. and no you dont need to pull the dash off, most of the wires are located in the steering column, but you will need to remove most of the center console to get to the parking brake wire

my advice.. spend the 15 bucks to get the harness.. why chop into your factory harnesses if they make a connector?

thanks for the input but we got it done in about 45 minutes. after we strted really diggin into the wires in the steering column we relized it wan't goingt be to difficult to hard wire it. again thanks for the input

We didn't want to spend the 15 dollars and we didn't have to. We asked for help and you had to tell us to buy the harness. Well, we did it without it. Thanks a lot.

uhm, i didnt say it couldnt be done without the harness. i just said its easier to just use the harness and for 15 bucks seemed really worth it.

I managed to hard wire my Apexi without any probs (varies with skill level), but just incase u want to save a few bux, here's the wires your looking for. First remove the stearing column. Should be a couple of screws and then snaps off. Might have to move it up or down (can't rememeber) to make it easier. May want to also remove the lower dash panel (4 bolts - 2 behind covers). The wires are as follow:

Constant 12 volt - white
Ignition 12 volt - black/white
Starter - Black and red

Just follow the ingition and the wires will attach at the back. Hope this helps

i just ordered one of those new greddy ones with a harness for 85 bux shipped to my door can't wait to get it, its sliver with like a blue backlit display, looks like its gunna be tyte.
