Want to move on to external wg, can I stick with my exhaust manifold?

I ordered a sbr cast 2g ported exhaust manifold about 2 years ago... Can any performance shop mount a tial on there or would I have to order a new manifold and specify Im going to run an external wg on the exhaust manifold? Thanks.

may i suggest just buying one thats mounted to the o2 housing.. if you havent already upgraded the o2 housing. one maybe like in this link........http://www.diamondstarmotorsport.com/exhaustparts_files/smp-01-010.jpg

SBR now sells a manifold (EVOIII-style) with a mounting flange for Tial35/38 cast into it. Could sell yours and pick that one up, or just pickup a mild steel flange and have it welded onto yours. RRE / Buschur have been sucessfully running externals this way for years and if remember correctly will charge ~$50 to do this service for you

Now, I do not know about the Tial gates because we usually do not use them on the DSM's but we do use the HKS standard gate and mount it directly to the manifold. I will see if I have a picture of my set up to show you what it would like like.

Yes you can get a Tial Flange welded on your current manifold. The best place for this is on the first runner. Any trusted local machine shop should be able to do this for you or you can send it away to be done. The choice is totally up to you. Do you already have the Tial wastegate or no?

Can't you guys do it for him a a fairly decent price? I'm just asking because he is a former customer and its your manifold. I was going to post on this thread yesterday to contact Slowboy to see what they can do. Thats what I would have done if I was in his situation.
