also has anyone had experience with ebay downpipes

I have that megan racing downpipe for my GST. It is awesome. It does eliminate the cat though. Spool up is louder and faster. Fitment was perfect with no modifications. I am still waiting for them to make a 2g 3" catback for the GST. Great quality stuff. It's also supossed to help lessen/prevent much boost creep through the elbow being 2.5" and then 3" after the flex.

They already do have the 3" cat-back system for the GS-T.

The first O2 sensor goes on the O2 housing, unless that is a O2 eliminator (didn't look). The second one goes on the cat back.

That downpipe eliminates the cat and there's no where on the downpipe for the o2 sensor. You might get a CEL since the second o2 sensor isn't connected. You need to trick that o2 sensor into thinking it's getting a reading by putting a bolt in the downpipe's o2 sensor hole (if it has one, mine didn't) then either wrap the o2 sensor in aluminum foil or just clamp the sensor to the side of the exhaust. You can also wrap the sensor in the foil and then clamp it to the side of the exhaust, too.

To anybody that has this downpipe, where does the stock O2 sensor go since I don't see a spot for it on these downpipes that are sold on ebay?

Front one stays in the o2 housing, the rear one is after the cat, so you wont have to worry about it untell you install a 3in catback to your 3in DP. When you do just have a muffler shop weld on a 02 bung for $5.

The GSX catback dosn't fit with the 3in Megan Racing DP. They have sence redesigned their product and havn't heard if it was out yet. Sucks. I had a muffler shop install a custom 3in catback w/ o2 bung, hangers and 3in Megan Racing muffler I supplyed them for $150.

Great 3in turbo back for $330

well i red the whole thing like 3 times from top to bottom and didnt see anything that says item may not be whats pictured if anyone else has spotted it please let me know

I bought a TSUDO downpipe for my 95 Talon TSi and it works great. That, along with the 3" catback opens up the door for power like crazy. It came with hangers and fit the car perfectly. i HOnestly dont see the reason people spend $200 on an APEXI downpipe, when an off Stainless Steel brand will do the exact same.

Megan Racing is not an off brand. TSUDO now, i'm not sure. Although like your experience, i've heard nothing but good from their products.

ok well i just sent the seller of the auction a second message about product listed because itdoesnt match photo and nowhere in the listing does it say that item shown is is not or might not be what i recive, that being said i was a dumb A$$ and payed for it already so i hope everything turns out ok at this point

Are you still on a T25?
You might want to reevaluate your MBC connections and make sure your wastegate is opening....

Yeah, check your mbc. I have that dp with a evo3 gt 16g. No probs. I thought that design would help against boost creep though.

I have the Megan Racing DP on my 95 GST. Fitment was pretty good. Welds where outstanding. The only thing that bugs me is that it necks down at the end to meet the stock exhaust. Easily remedied though. I will just take it to a muffler and have it cutoff and straight welded to my catback. Overall, Im glad I did not spend alot on my DP. I believe that you get what you pay for with catbacks. Their exhaust is great for for awhile then all the glasspack(sound deadner mat) blows out and it gets loud as hell. Ive seen it happen to 4 exhaust(2 eclipse and 2 honda Megan Racing catbacks). :dsm:

The only Product I have had from Meagan racing was a Muffler welded into cast back piping on my N/T I LOVED IT! wasnt to loud and sounded deep even on a N/T!!! :thumb: I am definately going ot be getting the Downpipe and probably their "N1 Turbo" muffler and throw it on 3" piping. :thumb:

i got it last night it was megan racing looks sweet welds are nice and weighs alot less then the factory one cant wait to put it on

Enjoy! I wonder if Megan's 2g gst 3" catback bolts right up to their 2g gst downpipe?

Anybody know??

I have a 2g gst megan racing downpipe and it is great. I have had it for 2 years and it is still perfect with no leak from the flex section unlike other downpipes. Overall it is a great product for the price.

the mbc is hooked up properly but isnt worth a damn right now...i have it set as low as possible but its still boost creeping like crazy. How can i check if my wastegate isn't opening? I was told that i should check it out; that my stock t25 might be going bad. I just hit 100k miles by the way.
