intake fabrication

ok, i got a K+N filter (used) for free from a local shop, but it is a 3 inch universal filter n im trying to get ideas on how to put it on with a 1g MAS.
n e one out there got n e ideas?

I did the same thing on my 2g. My buddy aslo my mechanic who custom fabricates auto accessories cut a pipe,squeezed the pipe to fit the intake,and welded a square piece to it to bolt on to the intake. it looks good. When i post some pics ill be sure to post one of it.
