I have a hallmen ES and I cant seem to turn down the boost? I keep backing it out and out with no change.

I have had this problem since I got my full 3" exhaust

I ordered a 02 dump to try and solve this problem, but even if I turn the boost controller all the way out it still boost alot! what to do?

I have the hallmen hooked up right I think! I have it tappen into the turbo boost source and then the wategate?

Thats the same problem i had with my manual boost controller i got so damm mad im looking into an eletrical boost controller now.

but it sounds like u got it hooked up right, just make sure your vacume hose to the Wastegate is short ....i heard if its too long you will have a problem with too much boost so you could try shortening the hose alittle ?

what do you mean by "but even if I turn the boost controller all the way out it still boost alot! what to do? " how much?

1. how much boost are you seeing
2. you might be suffering from boost creep
3. what turbo are you running -- stock (according to your profile), right?
4. is the boost stable, or does it rise/drop at all while wot?

1. anywhere from 15-20psi
2.i think it might be boost creep but even if I turned the knob all the way out wouldnt it be a little lower?
3.t to small
4.boost is not stable!

arrrrrrrr

Does it shoot up ot 20psi, then come back down to 15psi. if it does, that would be boost spike. Running a shotr line to the actuator(as mentioned) an remedy this. I was getting terrible spike with my TurboXS controller. I switched to an Extreme XBC, and now its rock solid.

I have the same problem with Hallman. I found that it has to be screwed out about an inch. If you screw out too much the boost goes up as well as screwing it in too much. Now I hit a max of 15 PSI when the car is in its first 15 minutes of driving, but after driving awhile it wont go above the stock 12 PSI.

you might back it all the way out and make sure the spring is centered and not binding....
