I'm not looking to lower the car. I'm just looking to get the stiffest best suspension to handle a 95 awd talon in a drag setup. The most I would want to lower this car is 1in" if I had to lower it at all.

You guys tell me your experiences and thoughts on what you think is the best drag suspension setup for an awd 2g. Thanks :)

Their are just so many options. I'd suggest a 450lb front srping rate & 550lb rear spring rate coil over setup with either Tein, Koni, Illumina struts. depends on what kind of $ you have on hand.

DSMwiseman post on AF.

I would never put 450lb spring in front with 550 in the rear........ with a 60/40 (f/r) weight split generally you would want the spring rates to share similar split give or take for driver characteristic preferences. I will be using 500/300 springs for my car, some use a heavier rear (350-450) but those folks have tranferred weight or prefer the tail to give before the nose otherwise known as a lose feel. Heavy is where the front tires give first when at the limits of the cars handling.

Koni Sport (Yellow)
Hypercoil 2 1/2" x 8"
RRE pillow ball top mounts
Koni sleeve and spring seats

Seems to work great.

wrote that backwards. Sorry about that.

It's all good. Note that the illumina's or koni's for that matter are not known to do well with a 550 lbs spring, a revalved koni would be optimal.

Regarding Koni, this is not a correct statement. The OE valving will handle 600# just fine.

go any lower and you will be spending hella money on fixing camber, buying new tires, and alighments.

What about the tein flex or ss full coil over w/ the in dash adjustable box? It felt damn good in my friends silver 350z. Yes I know thats not a dsm and it could be hella different, but its just a question.
