I started taking apart the front end of my car to install a JRC fmic. The tranni and power steering oil coolers are taking too much space and I'd rather relocate them. I was just wondering if I have to drain my trans/power steering fluids to relocate the coolers? The ps cooler will be replaced with an after market one and I might do the same for the transmission one. Also what size (diameter wise) hose should I get for both?

any time you break the lines you have to drain the fluid. you will also have to bleed the system for any air. i dont know how you would do that with a transmission cooler but you just put fluid in the power steering pump and turn the steering wheel back and forth till it cant take any more fluid.

hope that hleps
