Yes, I agree with what Andy says above. I too run 22psi daily on pump gas on a slightly rich tune. I have a stock head gasket and head bolts on a 7-bolt. I have not had any problems as of yet.andymoraitis said:I run 22 psi daily on pump gas with an 11:1 A/F and 23 degrees of timing (3 counts of knock) so I don't see why 20 would be a problem. Per Dave Johnson at DejonTool, they've run 24-25 psi on race fuel with the stock head studs and mitsu gasket. The biggest issue to make sure that you have adequate fuel supply. If you do, then you shouldn't have any issues.
Hope that helps,
Andy

what the hell kinda turbo are you running??something must be wrong with your car if you can't build any boost in 1st or 2nd gear.UPGRADED2G said:I run 24lbs on pump dailey. I dont boost very often during routine trips to work and school. But when I do, I am somewhere between 11.4-11.8 a/f ratio as soon as i get 1lb of boost, until the fun ends at 24. Keep in mind i dont get full boost in 1st or second gear....lag![]()
COMPLETELY STOCK 7BOLT driven dailey.

ChvyKc said:I don't believe that he isn't building any boost, I think that he just isn't hitting full boost. Must be running a really laggy turbo not to get full boost in 2nd though
