their is just no way i am getting my 96 gsx stock o2 housing to fit this Megan Racing Downpipe!! The o2 studs are just not wide enough for the 2.75in pipe. the clearence issue makes it impossable for the nuts to screw on the o2 studs.

Who is using this downpipe with an aftermarket 02 housing? Wich ones actuall fit this downpipe? I need more Clearence for the 02 studs!!!!

That downpipe doesn't fit correctly. Megan Racing just redid their downpipes for the AWD's the other day. We don't know when they're going to be released yet, but you can modify that one to work. Search on here because there's been a million threads on this recently with what people did to get the downpipe to fit.

none of that stuff has anything to do with my question.

that was the tread i started about the damn downpipe 3 weeks ago. i know they dont fit. thats why im asking the people who have aftermarket 02's with megan racing gsx downpipes what works....

the new downpipes wont be available for atleast 2 months. i called the Megan and talked to the guy behind R&D yesterday about it. he's probably the same guy who is working with whoever white gsx you've linked to my thread.

Once agian. peope who have 2g gsx Megan Downpipes and Aftermarket o2 housings. Which ones do you have, i dont want to buy the wrong one for $100. the 02 studs need to be more spread apart then the stock o2. Thanks

Im getting really close to buying a new o2 housing. Im thinking about spending the $120 for the EVO o2 housing. Can anyone conferm that my Megan Racing downpipe will fit that 02?

NO! the megan racing will not fit the evo O2 housing. How do I know? I have an evo O2 housing and a megan racing dp sitting in my garage. BUT, what i did was buy an evo O2 housing dp flange from RRE and im just going to have an exhaust shop weld the flange to the megan dp :rocks:

CRAP!! How do people Put these F*cking Down pipes on! They dont fit the stock narrow o2 housing. They dont fit the Evo o2 housing. What the hell does it fit? I would really like to get this done so I dont have to think about it anymore!!

I was planing on buying the Evo o2 from RRE for $140. Thats exactly why too. It comes with both gaskets and a flange!

i don't have the Megan dp, but i do have a punishment racing o2 dump, and if I'm thinking correctly as to what you are referring to about the bolts needing more room apart, then i can say that this o2 has a wide hole for the bolt to move from side to side. here's a picture of what I'm talking about, you can kind of see that it has a large room to go left or right. i hope this is what you're talking about, sorry if it wasn't.
