Afpr question How much boost can i run on 550's?

Alright, I am getting an Fp 25/44 ball bearing 20G turbo and i intend to buy a front mount shortly after, along with 680cc injectors. Now my friend told me i could use his 550cc. injectors for a while, but i am thinking i will need a lot bigger injectors to run 20-22 lbs. on this turbo. The guy selling me the turbo told me that i can use 550's i just have to buy an AFPR, i was just wondering if this was true, i have a walbro 255 LP and an SAFC-II and MAF-T (blow through) for tuning.

Also, i was wondering if i could run this turbo and injectors etc. without a front mount temporarily, it makes sence to me to say no but i figured i'd ask anyway. If so, what PSI is the limit.

first of all, u do not want to boost over 18-19 psi on pump gas. i'd say u could run around 25 psi on race gas w/ the 550s. an afc or afc II is good enough. u don't need 680s but it wouldn't hurt. of course u can run it w/out a fmic...it's just better to run it w/ one. u don't even need to re-tune the afc when putting on only a fmic too. good luck

Big turbo + sidemount < 14b + Front mount

The stock 1g SMIC will heatsoak instantly w/o that turbo even trying. So use the lowest boost possible until you get a real intercooler in there.

How come its not on before the turbo? I must ask.

how about you buy a logger and log knock and see how much boost you can run?
