Need info on what i am missing on Tsi

Ok i am trying to put this talon back together that i bought a while back. the tranny was broke so i got a different one and a new clutch and got it all back together. i tried to start the car and it would start then idle up to 2000 then drop to like 300 and barely idle then die. I checked for vac leaks but didnt find any since the car only has like 2 or 3 vac lines because the previous owner did the egr block off and all the other emissions stuff. i did notice some things that i am missing tho and they are the oil pressure sending unit wiring plug. and the wastegate solenoid plug. would these two things keep the car from running? i was also wondering where the engine grounds are suppost to be. if anyone can help let me know and if you have any pictures of what these different things are suppost to look like then let me know. id like to get this car back on the road. thanks

I would double check the timing, and see if the ECU is throwing any codes. The plugs missing for those two things should not cause it to run that way. Any more info would help as well.

Check the BISS screw-see the www.vfaq.com. The oring ring on it, cause the screw to back out and mess with the idle. Its a easy, first thing to check...
