Greddy profec?? spec 1 or 2?

Hey guys, i'm looking for a good ebc and the profecs are pretty reasonably priced. My question is which is better? The older spec with the dials or the newer spec II??

Which one is better for controlling boost spike and over all better boost control?

What are your likes and dislikes?

I should have gone spec1. I bought spec2 instead because it has so many shiny lights!! on me. Either that or the type S is supposed to be decent. It's basically the same thing as spec1 except it had a makeover and probably a few things done to it. I don't know if it uses the same solenoid as the spec1 or 2. From what I heard, the spec2 spikes like hell and I can tell you that it is confusing as hell to use and navigate. Right now, I'm thinking of just selling mine and getting a spec1 or type S.

Edit: Shit, why am I saying spec 1 and 2? They are Profec A and B spec 2 right?
