chtown,
The tensioner puly and the idler pully for the timing belt. The 7 bolt before it blew up only had a few miles on them they were new! And im doin a 6 bolt swap and mine look a little rusty? I willl use the 1g tensioner arem 2g mount 2g idler pully and 2g tensioner pully and 1g timing belt! Sound ok?? Thanks!

this is what i am planing on doing to, i just replaced the idler pully, tensonior pulley and timing belt before i spun rod bearings, I was wondering if i could use the two pulleys and my 2g 7bolt timing belt on a 6bolt?

Ok news flash went t ouse the 7bolt tensioner pully on the 6 bolt with the 1g tensioner arm and there is a difference in these pullys! The difference is 1.74 of an inch enough to rub on the arm. So we had to make a spacer in order to fit right. Now t fits perfect we used a very thin washer that guaged out to be 1.74 of an inch!! So there is ur answer the idler pully was fine! :thumb:
