wil a 1st gen blow off valve fit on an upper intercooler pipe that was flanged for a greddy bov? a friend of mine claims that a greddy bov can fit a 1g flange, but can a 1g fit a greddy flange?

so if it is not a direct fit, can the 1g bov be drilled to fit the greddy flange?

No. You will have to weld on a 1G flange or get a Greddy BOV.

No, the holes that you use for the greddy are too close, so when you drill out the holes on the flange for the 1g you have 2 open holes=boost leak.

Go to Vfaq under intake and click on the greddy bov install link......because my explanantion stinks :p

so technically it is possible, however the bov is prone to leaks huh. Well i suppose that makes no difference since i will only be using this bov for a few months if that. I understand what you are trying to explain though.

I have new shiny Dejontool intercooler piping already waiting to be put on, i'm just trying to figure out if i can throw a 1g bov (which a friend gave me) on my intercooler piping which is flanged for a greddy type bov which i plan on purchasing down the road, but not if i can get by w/ this free 1g bov for a few months time. hope that better explains my situation.

Thanks for the replies :thumb: :rocks:
