ok, so i read as much as i can about this mod, so i take my bov off, hook a vacuum guage up, the valve starts to open slightly @ 15 on the vacuum guage, so my question is , does this mean 15 psi of boost in the uic pushes open the valve and leaks boost ? i really hope thats what it means, so i crush the valve so that it doesnt start to move until about 20 on the vacuum gauge , i hope this is correct, , it seems to drive fine, going to the track 2nite.

The "correct way"(if there is such a thing) to crusha 1G cbv, is to put a penny between the nipple and housing. Compress it slowly in a vice, using blocks of wood, so that the valve is not damaged. When the nipple just touches the penny, its crushed enough. Go any farther, and you risk detroying the cbv.

The nipple that has a hose coming from it that goes to the intake manifold. Thats how the bov releases the pressure when you slam the tb plate shut. Your intake manifold is in a vacum and your IC pipe is still pressurized, opening the bov.

I can't understand my own typing so I don't exect you to either:(
