1G 3G MAF on a 1G?

Does anyone know if a MAF off a 3G will work on a 1G? Either the 4 or 6 cylinder?

The 3g maf from a V6 is digital and won't work on our 1g's. It is possible that the 3g maf from the 4 bangers might work though. You are best to go looking for a 2g mas from a 3000gt, or an early 90's v6 Hyundai. Ebay has a few as of last night and also Ongreenperformance.com has some used 2g mas's for sale. I have used both when I did the 2G mas in a 1g upgrade, before going GM MAS and translator.

Jeff Oberholtzer has sucessfully calibrated his chips for both the 3G MAS and EVO MAS.
In sum both flow more air at a lower Hz than the 1G/2G MAS, so without some way to compensate (AFC/eprom) you will run lean.
