Another EBAY Manifold...Junk or Not

For an eBay manifold it actually doesn't look to bad. They didn't really get any good pictures of the welds but they seem to be ok. Not sure of the strength. Best thing to do is look through their feedback and see if anyone else has bought one and ask them about it. I might buy it though givin I needed one.

You really can't judge much from the looks of any car part, but a bracket or 2 holding the flange seady would be nice.

$390 though, you have to be a little weary about the price. There is a reason that good quality shops charge $500+ for a tubular manifold.

One my buddies runs that piece, from what i have seen all that it needs is some braces. He has had it for about 7 months besides heat discoloration its a great piece i might get one for my gvr4 braces are like 70 cents and a welder if you have one. if not prob like 10 bucks to get them put on he paid a bit more than what they are asking. BEWARE SS AUTOCHROME like the cheapskate that i am bought one of their pieces and thats what it was a big piece of crap besides not fitting worth a crap they mixed stainless very low grade at that and mild steel the wall thickness of it was prob 18 or 20 gauge wayyyyyy to small for the temps it took, cracked within a week or normal driving, just remember its not the manifold thats restrictive its the ex housing try porting before you go wild and spend lots of money, port the ex housing and flapper it makes a world of difference and its free

I have it. For about 1 year and a month give or take a little. Its wrapped in header wrap and been abused, to the point where it glows BRIGHT orange! :thumb:!! Took off the wrap (it tore a little {the wrap}) no visible cracks or anything! so far so good.

They also come with a lifetime warranty so if it craks you have basicly two options, reweld, or exchange. :dsm:
