HELP!!!: so i installed my o2 dump . . .

hey guys i finally installed m o2 dump . . . my mods are in my profile, and my greddy profec B specII (the digital one) still shows me getting disgusting boost creep on the freeway . . . in 3rd when i gun it, ill have it set @ 15 PSI and it will climb its way up, and by redline im pusing about 23psi . . . i have a ported evoIII . . . the dump is ported as well, and a ported exhaust manifold . . . can it be that my profect isnt as accurate as it should be, or inaccurate at all ? (i dont have an actual boost gauge) . . . ive pretty much done all i can to control this creeping problem . . . let me know what you guys think ...

Get a mechanical boost gauge and compare the two.....
You never know.... We all know the SpecII wasnt the best thing GReddy ever came out with.....

You have 34mm flapper correct?
Is the dump a 2.5 tubular?

Did you prt the wastegate side on turbine housing, before you put the O2 dump on?
I had creep until I did this.

Yes, the digital boost gauge is pretty inaccurate. Get a mech boost gauge and your jaw will drop. You also want to make sure to read the manual for the boost controller and mess with the sensitivity/consistancy (i think its the GAIN one) and start boost settings. Those things are real finnicky.....Good luck and also try checking for boost leaks...

I switched from electronic to mechanical because I was not getting good readings at first. Mechanical is working perfectly now.

If it's not fixed you may have to do some more porting on the turbine housing. Your mods list says ported but it could still be a restriction. If it's not ported good then your dump isn't going to make any difference.
