Agp or 20g

The 50 trim and the 20g are pretty close performance wise. If your bored with the 20g already I wouldnt suggest a 50trim. You might want to step it up to a 60-1 or something to not be bored anymore OMG

Im going from the sbr tdo5h 2g20 to the agp rs49t. I have all the parts and Im doing the install along with a fmic and new bumper in a few weeks. Ill let you know how the 50 trim compares to the 20g.

Depending on which 20G you have it will flow from 650cfm to 735 cfm. The TD05h is small and an 06 compressor housing would be helpful along with a larger turbine wheel. The 50 rim will flow about 710cfm, tops so the 2 sre about the same. I have had an AGP RS49 that I just sod because I bought an AGP RS60T. I love the Bullseye turbine housings AGP uses. They are VERY BEEFY, thick flanges and the AGP turbo oil line kit is very nice also especially for only $100 more.
The new AGP RST series come with a 1 year warranty also, along with a polished cover at no extra charge. I just got mine on Friday. It uses a 360 degree thrust bearing also. Nice. It has the capicity to flow 870CFM and I have spoken with 60-1 owners and the 60-1 wheel flows a lot of air at lower psi's.
Just for th guys who may question how I came up with the 870CFM potential of the 60-1 the formula is lbs.per min/.069=CFM. A 20g flows what, 44/min. So 44/.069=638cfm. That would be for a TD05h cover and the stock turbine wheel. Flow goes up with mods like an 06 h cover and an 06 "HOT" wheel.

I'm running a tdo6 20g ran 11.55@119 still more left in it.It's proven...how many impressive times have you seen with 50trim?a 20g tuned propoerly will be just as fast or faster because of it's spoolup.20g's have been known to go 10's.

Actually, that'd be an 06 cover and an 06H turbine wheel. To the original poster, when you say you have a TD05H-20G, do you mean that the comp. housing is a TD05H or the turbine wheel (or both)? Is it clipped? Tort's 20g has an 06 comp. housing and an 05H turbine wheel, he's gone 11.0 @ 124 on it. If it's your comp. housing that is an 05H, just swap on the big housing. Also, I've owned a Green and it made about the same power with the same mods as Tort's car - and had more lag. I'd skip the RS49/50 trims and go right to a 60-1 or Holset 35/40 if you want more power.

Yeah i know that the 20g is a good turbo. In fact i really havent pushed it. But at 17 psi i was losing to some cars i feel i shouldnt have from a roll. I figured i should step the game up and thought the rs60t would for sure do it. I have the bullseye housing for my 20g but it isnt on. Also, i have a stock ported o2 housing on the car not the 2.5 in o2 housing in my room :thumbdown . And i havent added my new head to the mix. I think i wouldnt mind keeping the 20g. I want a few things out of the next turbo i get too. I want spool by 3600 or so with 24 psi on pump?

i have the T04E 60trim from bullseye and i get 24psi at 3700rpm and all 4 tires have a hard time staying on the ground. sideways launches are getting kinda scary ima get some new tires soon. :shhh: my dsmlink was reading 380whp 355 torque on 20psi with 93 octane reading 40-42lbs a min. I still havent seen what i reads on 24psi but i have to pull some timing up top to get 24 psi with 93 octane. I can't wait to see what it will do with 28-30 psi on C-16 and some cams

Nice flow numbers, but I wouldn't really "trust" Links HP and TQ calculations...I just use the x10 method for lbs./min as crank HP...that's providing you're getting an accurate reading..

I just got the AGP RS60T but have not installed yet. I did start a thread about supporing mods on the engine performance forum that had quite a few responses from guys using a 60-1 comp wheel. Mark

Yeah i am going to get the agp rs60t. I have most of the supporting mods, fuel pump (255) getting 780's now, fpr, full 3in, 2.5in o2, built head with 272's, stock block with good compression, act 2600, and dsmlink. And the normal maintenace all done.
