no spark at coil pack

I have a 96Tsi and I just replaced my headgasket. Now the car wont start. Its getting gas, the problem seems to be that I am getting no spark to the #4 cylinder, and very very little spark at #1 however the further down the line I get such as 2 then three the spark gets stronger. Anyone have anyideas?

Check the connectors for all the ignition components. The connector for the coil packs has a pin that is easy to bend when pressing it in. Just check everything over and you should find the problem.

maybe it's time to replace the packs? Also check the power transistor.

It's definitely either the coil pack or transistor (power unit) as said. Make sure the connectors "click" when you plug them in.

I wouldn't know why a part would stop working from just taking it off and putting it back on. Let us know what happend if you find out what was wrong.
