Neccessary to port match 2g head w/ 1g intake Mani?

if i get a 1g intake manifold and tb for my 2g head, will i need to portmatch the head? if not, will i see any gains at all?

I wouldnt do it. There just isnt enough gain in it for the work. Just leave it the way it is. I did it on mine and didnt see shit as far as gains.

I wouldnt do it either. If you want some good throttle reponse gains, get a 1g TB and put that on. The 1g one is 60mm, and the 2g one is 54mm...you can find them for like $50 on eBay or the classifieds. Good cheap upgrade.

actually, the stock diameter of the 2G TB is 52mm, but who cares.. haha.. anyways, the 1G TB is a good upgrade but it is a PITA to get it to run right. if you do do it, make sure you get the 91-94 TB.

I loved my ported 2g head ans 1g take. Just putting it on your car qithout porting is like a funnel you'll get no gain. Unless you port the 2g head to match it. And you'll maybe have air leak it won't match up.
