oil pressure is like about 7psi and flutuates almost to no pressure at idle why is that and what can be done and i dont think that it is good i though we should run like 20 or 15 at idle

where is it tapped in at? Pressure at the head can read as low as 7psi, but down at the filter housing should be more.

What guage are you using? What car/motor? New oil pump? Miles?

Jesus Christ throw me a bone please.

Jesus gave you mor than a bone, He gave YOU His life. Oil pressure at idle only needs to be 11PSI. Put a gauge on the sending unit port and you will see the pressure rise about 10PSI/1000RPM. Mark

well no idiot light yet and it's taped in at the oil filter housing and i usewd a fitting so that the stock gaue would still work and the greddy gauge is brand new it's not a tired sending unit at least i hope not. thanks again
